10Gbps 10GBASE-KR Ethernet in Xavier E3550

Hi All,

How to use 10Gbps (10GBASE-KR) Ethernet on my Xavier E3550? Any device I should prepare use to be bridge to connect to them (like 1Gbps 802.3bp Ethernet in port #1~#7 in front of front panel)?

Yes.

I saw they should be 10GBASE-KR and seems Dual GbE Dongle w/ HSD Cable is not workable with 2 “10 Gbps 10GBASE-KR Ethernet” ports (based on Front-View).

Could you guide me how to use it?

Yes I know.

Because our system is based on 10G bandwidth network migrated from PX2 (TegraA with 10G Ethernet), then I need 10Gbe connections work with my Xavier E3550.

Are you asking to connect 10GbE to RJ45 via dongle? 10Gbe connctions is meant for box-box to communication.

I’m confused about 10GbE ports specification because of different discription on each documents.

Which one from below is these 10GbE ports specification with HSD connector on fron panel ?

  • a) 10GBASE-T : described in "DRIVE_AGX_DevKit_Product_Brief_PB-09159-001_v03.pdf", page8, "Notes" on Table 1-2.
  • b) 10GBASE-T1 : described in "DRIVE_Mech_Inst_Guide_DI-08957-001_v05.pdf",page35, Table 3-10.
  • c) 10GBASE-KR : described in "DRIVE_AGX_DevKit_QSG_176-0336-001-drive-agx-developer-kit-p3550-qsg-r5.pdf", page5.
