[2023.1.0-hotfix.1] Ros Camera Helper Error

While following ROS camera tutorial(7.1.3. Cameras — Omniverse IsaacSim latest documentation), I found that running camera helper in version [2023.1.0-hotfix.1] terminates the simulator with error, displaying the following message.

And I also verified that the error occurs even in an empty stage.

I tried the same thing in version [2022.2.0], but in that version ros camera helper works well.

I think the message I noted was not an error message.
Here’s the log

Hi @drancon,
I am unable to reproduce the issue on my end. Could you share the exact steps you are taking to setup the camera helper as well as the property tab view of each each node?

Thanks for the reply.

First of all, let me share my system configuration

OS: Ubuntu 20.04.6
CPU: Intel® Core™ i9-10920X CPU @ 3.50GHz
GPU: NVIDIA RTX A6000 x 2
Memory: 128GB
SSD: 2TB
HDD: 8TB

The problem occurs not only with ROS1 bridge but also with ROS2 bridge.

And here’s the log

I tested ROS 2 camera helper in another system as follows:

OS: Ubuntu 22.04
CPU: Intel Xeon Scalable Silver 4316
GPU: NVIDIA RTX A6000 x 2

However, it showed the same problem I described above.

I tried changing NVIDIA driver but it didn’t make any difference.

Hi @drancon - Just want to confirm that you are seeing this issue with the latest Isaac sim release as well.

@drancon The logged message should not cause an issue for publishing the images over. Can you see the topics showing up and the image in RViZ after hitting play?

Yeah I’m seeing the issue also in the latest version 2023.1.1.
I’ve captured another video showing nvidia driver version and isaac sim version at the start, and the same error at the end.
Since Isaac Sim freezes when the error occurs, topics are not showing in the list and RVIZ.
That’s also included in the video.

And here’s the log.

If you download and take a look at the video in my latest reply to @rthaker, you could see that the topics are not being published. I guess that’s because the isaac sim has been frozen as soon as I hit the play button.
