2080 Ti on Cuda 9.0

Hi There;

I recently purchased 2080 Ti card. installed on ubuntu 16.04. it works fine with cuda 10.0 though when i install cuda 9.0. run nvidia-smi it says NVIDIA-SMI has failed because it couldn’t communicate with the NVIDIA driver. Make sure that the latest NVIDIA driver is installed and running.

wonder if 2080 Ti can not work with cuda 9.0?

Not compatible, sorry. Furthermore, you now have installed an old driver so nothing will work. Purge/uninstall and reinstall a v410 driver and cuda 10.
