30 bit color on Wayland?

Is it possible to use 10 bit per subpixel aka 30 bit color under wayland?

In xorg it is possible by having a preference under xorg.conf to apply it but under wayland that preference is not read.

So…Anyone?

in theory, configuring your X server file should do the trick… as of now. eventually no. going 30bit is already a pretty scary thing as most applications still uses 24bit hardcoded ;) it’s only recently that Chrome and Atom got their act together… So it is possible now to run Chrome, Slack and let say VisualCode in 30bit ;) Gnome+gtk, well not there at all
