Pretty simple. I see nothing on the monitor. It says no signal. I tried both HDMI ports, but nothing coming out. This is replacing another Nvidia card, a PNY Geforce 1030. I had originally both cards installed and never got any output from any card. The 3060 is a Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3060 OC 12G board with two display ports and 2 htmi ports. It boots into Mint 21 just fine but since I don’t get any ouput I can’t modify anything in the bios. All the suggestions to date say I have to update the drivers but the drivers have nothing to do with the fact I can’t see any output from POST. The system is Manufacturer: Micro-Star International Co., Ltd.
Product Name: MPG X570 GAMING PLUS (MS-7C37)
Version: 2.0
With model name : AMD Ryzen 3 3300X 4-Core Processor
It was also suggested I don’t have enough power, but the PS is a 550 watt supply and the 8 pin pcie cable is connected to the video board.
The system boots and I can ssh into it. lspci tells me it’s a 23:00.0 VGA compatible controller: NVIDIA Corporation GA106 [GeForce RTX 3060 Lite Hash Rate] (rev a1)
NVIDIA Settings tells me it’s a GeForce RTS 3060 and the driver verison is 535.113.01, NVML Version is 12.535.113.01 and the driver manager says I’m running the latest recommended version.
SO can anyone tell me how to make this beast work in my system?
Thanks
Jim.
I just saw this in system information:
Device-1: NVIDIA GA106 [GeForce RTX 3060 Lite Hash Rate] vendor: Gigabyte driver: nvidia

the "4 ports: active: none off bothers me.
