I have been sent here by Nvidia chat, if my device needs repair i need a ra or uplift number, can i get that level of assistance here or is it user ran forum?
My 3080ti has started crashing under load, i have monitored temps and it seems to happen when the hotspot temp gets to around 103, if i set the max power to 300w rather than standard 350w using nvidia-smi it seems to cure the issue but not ideal.
I am running arch, fresh install, latest drivers.
I was using windows 11 fresh install, latest drivers but switched to Linux to try and fault find, i can also set max power in msi afterburner to 300w and not get any crashes.
Seems to be around 30ish degree difference between hotspot and gpu temperature.
My power supply is a brand new msi mpg 850w gold.
I have never overclocked just set maximum power to try keep temperature lower and seems to have helped.
When it crashes the desktop/game is still running as i can hear audio but need to do a hard reboot to get back to the desktop.
