I want to use 3D vision to drive a virtual pinball table. If 3D vision can ‘jiggle’ the camera left and right to produce stereo through shutter glasses, couldn’t it just as easily be set to jiggle up and down (so that stereo would be achieve in portrait orientation)? It seems like this should be as simple as changing and x value to a y value. Considering the product is past its end of life cycle it is difficult to find information on this idea.
You mentioned it, the product 3D Vision has been ended its HW lifecycle many years ago, and we also ended the SW support a few years ago. So definitely no new feature for 3D Vision…
But in your logic, you are rotating your physical eyes by 90°, if you just rotate your (stereo capable) screen into portrait mode, you should be just fine, get a proper 3D stereoscopic image, just in portrait mode…
Or am I missunderstanding your setup?
