On my laptop I have Xorg configured to use prime render offloading and to allow external monitors plugged into the Nvidia GPU.
Option “AllowNVIDIAGPUScreens”
Option “AllowPRIMEDisplayOffloadSink”
Everything works fine when I have my desktop extended or mirrored between my laptop display (Intel GPU) and my external monitor (Nvidia GPU). Displaying exclusively on the Laptop screen works fine as well. However, When I configure my desktop to output to the external display only, the desktop becomes very unresponsive. It refreshes at about 1fps (except for the cursor) which is quite unusable. Any way to solve this?
