I’ll provide feedback for each subsequent driver release.
Understood. And understood. I did set it globally just to test for regressions.
First thing I checked was vkcube framerate. It is still maxed at refresh rate.
I don’t play games and GTK is really my only daily (desired) use of Vulkan at this time.
I’ll go back to the NGL renderer for now.
ASIDE: The biggest nVidia driver issue with the NGL renderer (distorted/frozen popover windows) has been mitigated by use of newer Adwaita widgets, combined with changes in GTK 4.18.x (they don’t care about nVidia issues, but inadvertently “fixed” this).
Right now NGL is perfectly viable for use while awaiting a better situation with the Vulkan renderer.
