A Damaged Component on Jetson-Orin-NX

Hello all,

I have a Waveshare JETSON-ORIN-IO-BASE Ver3.1 board (for Jetson Orin NX 16G), and I discovered a component on the IO Base board that appears to be damaged (see attached photos). I would like to ask for help identifying the component and whether a replacement is possible.

Some details:

  • Board Model: Waveshare JETSON-ORIN-IO-BASE Ver3.1 :contentReference[oaicite:3]{index=3}
  • Location: The component is located near the FAN header & power supply section (see red marked region in photos).
  • Functionality affected: [describe what fails — e.g. fan doesn’t spin, GPIO pins not responding, etc.]
  • What I’ve checked: Power input to that area is present / DC voltage measured (if you measured something) / other neighbouring components seem intact.

What I’d like to know:

  1. Can anyone help identify the exact part number of that damaged component (IC / transistor / MOSFET / level shifter etc.)?
  2. Is this component part of the level shifting / protection circuit (maybe TXB0108 or similar)?
  3. Does Waveshare provide a schematic / BOM for this board or have a parts list available for repairs?
  4. If the part can be replaced by a third-party equivalent, what specifications are critical? (voltage, package size, pinout, etc.)

Thanks in advance for any guidance or suggestions.

Aaron
