A problem about the deepstream-test5

When i run deepstream-test5-app,The RTSP video blinks every 1 to 2 seconds and the following error occurs with each blinks:

The program crashes after several blinks.

I compiled deepstream-test5 and ran the following command:

./deepstream-test5-app -c configs/test5_dec_infer-resnet_tracker_sgie_tiled_display_int8.txt -p 0

gst-launch-1.0 uridecodebin uri=rtsp://admin:1111@10.0.0.155:554 ! nvoverlaysink

it can work.

Actually,I tested two cameras for deepstream-test5-app, one of which worked and the other don’t.The two cameras are the same brand but different models.The brand is Tiandy. Both cameras have the same configuration.
Both cameras can work when I converted deepstream-test4 to read the RTSP.

For more information, the IP camera can be launched in running deepstream-test3, deepstream-app, but cannot in running deepstream-test5?

Please also share brand and model ID of the IP camera.

Hi,
We have IP cameras but don’t have Tiandy cameras. As of now we are not able to reproduce the issue. deepstream-app and deepstream-test5 are very close applications, except ‘–playback-utc’ option and uploading to kafka server. It is strange the camera can run in deepstream-app but fail in deepstream-test5.
Does it work if you disable [sink1] in test5_dec_infer-resnet_tracker_sgie_tiled_display_int8.txt? Also please set ‘live-source=1’ in [streammux].

I set test5_dec_infer-resnet_tracker_sgie_tiled_display_int8.txt like you said.But it still doesn’t work.
I have tried deepstream-app,But kafka server can’t receive message.Can only deepstream-test5 be used to send messages to the server?

Not sure but maybe the Tiandy IP camera runs in TCP mode. The prebuilt lib fixes an issue in running in TCP mode.

we can not use test4 with rtsp cameras, right
so for rtsp camera with azure we could only try test5
However is there an example of a config file of test5 sample for azure? It is not very intuitive which exactly to put into the configuration file
