About root file system

Hello, I have 3 questions.I would like to know the following questions in both cases of Xavier NX and TX2NX.

1.Is it possible to split the root file system into different devices (for example, when the eMMC is full, put the rest on the USB)?

2.Can the a / b Root File System be placed in different areas for slotA and slotB? (For example, slotA is eMMC, slotB is SD)

3.If TX2NX and Xavier NX are mounted on the same carrier board, should the AC Cap be 0.1 μF or 0.2 μF?

Best regards.

For 1,2 they are not supported.

1 → You can only decide one place to mount up the rootfs.

  1. → Currently, there is no support on rootfs A/B on different disk.

Regarding item 3, which port do you mean? You can read the design guide in DLC of TX2 NX and Xavier NX for that.

Thank you for reply. I understand about question 1 and 2.

Thank you for reply.I misread the value about NX.

NVIDIA Jetson Xavier NX Design Guide (DG-09693-001_v1.5)
About USB3.1 (on page 34) AC Cap is described as 0.075~0.2uF.

If TX2NX and Xavier NX are mounted on the same carrier board, should the AC Cap be 0.1μF?

Yes, 0.1uF is OK.
