You know the history well, so let me tell you the concluding part,
You need to change the GPIO settings of Pinmux @700008d4 and @6000d000 at the same time.
As I changed only @700008d4, it was an issue that the value of @6000d000 was overwrite.

Therefore, pj4,5,6,7 should be used as SFIO,
Tegra_gpio’s CNF should show 0, not f0(11110000) for that pin.

The dtb file containing the contents has already been shared,
This case will be updated in pinmmux_config_template and official documentation.

I was given the same guide as above,

I checked the jetson download center
There are no updates to the documentation for nano pinmux.

In this case, it was jetson nano.

We consider there is no need to update document. This is just our mistake not modifying pinmux @700008d4 and @6000d000 at the same time.

The real story in this long thread are:

  1. In the middle of our discussion on this topic, you already not followed any document. You just directly use the dtb shared by either jonathanh or me.

  2. Thus, after (1), there is no need to change anything in doc because you were not following the document at all. And it was our mistake that forgot to tell you that you also need to modify the gpio device tree.
