Hi, I am experiencing latency while running multi machine ROS on Jetson Nano. Currently using WiFi Dongle and just wondering if upgrading to the network card (AC8265) would improve the latency and network connection?
What’s the spec of your USB WiFi dongle?
All dual band support? How’s your WiFi environment performance?
We can’t just tell you if will or not.
You may need to do the research to have the comparision to help you make the decision.

The title of the dongle I purchased was: 600Mbps Dual Band 2.4G/5GHz Wireless Lan USB 2.0 PC Wifi Adapter 802.11 AC
I am getting about 43 Mbps on 5GHz.
I guess I’ll just buy the card for this experiment.
Do first experiment with the maxed out performance model running (uses more electric power):
sudo nvpmodel -m 0
yes i’ve set to MAXN and sudo jetson_clocks (barrel jack 5V/4A). the CPU GPU frequencies are maxed out accordingly.
