Accessing memory created by cudaHostAlloc from Linux kernel driver

[*]I created a user space host buffer via cudaHostAlloc.[*]Via Linux ioctl, I passed the returned pointer to the Linux kernel.[*]I attempted to page map this pointer while in a Linux kernel device driver via call get_user_pages, kmap_atomic etc.[*]page fault, there appears to be no way to to write to user allocated host memory buffers from Linux kernel mode.

Anybody else out there ever try this?
