I recently enrolled in the Generative AI with Diffusion Models course and was practicing in the lab environment provided. I ran “nvidia-smi”, I also tested the bandwith speed on the underlying machine by running a speedtest and I immediately got kicked out with an error prompt on my account:
“Your account has been disabled. If you believe this was done in error, please contact us at [feedback@example.com].”
I am grateful for the resources made available to us via the DLI and my intention was not to exploit or cause any issues, I simply wasn’t aware that running a speedtest was not allowed.
I respectfully request that my account be reviewed and reinstated. Moving forward, I will ensure to stay within the notebook environment and only execute code as intended within the course exercises.
Hello @fakhargillani2007
I’ve reactivated your account, but please remember that our Terms of Service require using our labs strictly for course-related content, not for unrestricted experimentation. Your account was previously disabled due to the installation of additional libraries that were not required for your last course.
Hi, @TomNVIDIA I appreciate you reactivating my account and for the clarification. I understand the guidelines now and will make sure to stick to the course exercises moving forward.

@TomNVIDIA I just attempted to log in, and it still shows: << Your account has been disabled. If you have any questions, please contact us [at feedback@example.com].>> Could you please check? Thanks.
Hi @fakhargillani2007,
I am having the DLI team look for the reason of your second ban.
Any update? I was not able to login after the previous update, how can I get banned without even logging in!
It’s been 10 days since my account was disabled, the last update I received was it had been reactivated, but I was unable to log in. @TomNVIDIA @jarent @tdahlin can anyone please assist?
