Activating Omniverse Enterprise license

I acquired a 30-day free trial of NVIDIA Omniverse. However, I haven’t been able to tell if the license actually got activated; when I go to to the licensing portal, it appears the entitlement hasn’t actually been allocated to the GPU on my machine even after I installed Omniverse launcher through the licensing portal.

I’d also like to activate the license on two other machines, but I’m not sure how to do that (would I need to create a license server?)

Finally, I tried accessing the Enterprise Support portal (Enterprise support is included as part of the free trial), but it just redirects to the licensing portal so I haven’t been able to create a case there.

If anyone’s been through the process of activating the Nvidia Enterprise license and has some guidance, I’d appreciate your help. Thanks!

Thanks for your inquiry. Can I start by asking you where you signed up for the free trial? Have you actually downloaded Omniverse, and used it? I am not sure why you would need the free trial. What features are you looking for that the free version does not have?

I would start by going to our free download area on GITHUB GitHub - NVIDIA-Omniverse/kit-app-template: Omniverse Kit App Template

Hi,

I signed up for the free trial here: Omniverse Enterprise | Free 30-day Trial | NVIDIA

I did download Omniverse and used it. I need the free trial because my team is planning to use Omniverse to build a product for commercial use and we are team of more than two people working on the same project (which requires an Enterprise license); we’d also like Enterprise support.

I did end up hearing back from Nvidia Enterprise Support and found out the answer to my questions:

  1. There is nothing you need to do to actually activate the licenses since the licenses aren’t enforced by the software - you can go ahead and download and use the software.
  2. The Enterprise support FAQ states that “NVIDIA Enterprise Business Standard Support(Omniverse Enterprise Technical Support | NVIDIA) is included within the 30-day trial period” - however, the support person told me that support is NOT included in the free trial period. EDIT: Never mind, they realized you actually do get Enterprise support with the evaluation license: there is no access to the support portal during the free trial but you can instead go to EnterpriseSupport & include your entitlement certificate in the description when creating a case.

Thanks. I am glad you found your answers. Good luck with the trial.
