Adding software button to start and stop live streaming on Jetson Nano with Raspberry Pi 2 camera

I am currently working on a project that involves live streaming using a Jetson Nano carrier board and a Raspberry Pi 2 camera. after set up the live streaming functionality, I would like to add a software button that allows me to start and stop the live streaming process.

I’m looking for guidance on how to implement this feature. Specifically, I would like to know:
How can I create a software button or interface to start and stop the live streaming?

For just the GUI buttons, you may have a look to that post: "nvv4l2h264enc" plugin: STOP PROBLEM - #7 by Honey_Patouceul.
You would have to adapt into a RTSP server.
