Hi,
After installing CuDNN 8.6 on my PC, the cudnn\_samples\_v8 folder is empty, the only file inside it is:

```auto
krzysztof@krzysztof-MS-7D25:/usr/src/cudnn_samples_v8$ ls
NVIDIA_SLA_cuDNN_Support.txt
```

Is there any other way to verify the CuDNN installation, or rather is there a way to download just the CuDNN samples? The whole installation process went smoothly, except that I installed CuDNN 8.6 whereas I only have the 11.7 Cuda toolkit, but that should not be a problem (from what I understand from the compatibility matrix). Both

```auto
nvidia-smi
```

and

```auto
nvcc --version
```

output properly.

I am also facing totalt same thing. versions are libcudnn8=8.2.4.15-1+cuda11.4 and libcudnn8-dev=8.2.4.15-1+cuda11.4

You and I just missed a step, written on NVIDIA cuda cudnn installation guide page as [here](https://docs.nvidia.com/deeplearning/cudnn/install-guide/index.html#installlinux-deb)

after hitting the command _sudo apt-get install libcudnn8-samples=8.x.x.x-1+cudaX.Y_
