Not able to connect the internet, as I checked there is no NetworkManager.service.
In Settings> Network> "Oops, something has gone wrong. Please contact your software vendor. Network Manager needs to be running.
Do let me know how to resolve this.
Hello @SivaRamaKrishnaNV ,
As suggested I created a 10-wireless.network file inside /etc/systemd/network/
content inside .network file
After that i enforced this n/w config using the below cmd:
sudo sytemctl enable --now systemd-networkd.service
Created the wpa-supplicant conf file under /etc/wpa_supplicant/wpa_supplicant-wlxxxx.conf
Then enabled the wpa_supplicant service using the cmd:
sudo sytemctl enable --now firstname.lastname@example.org
But still the issue exist. Please guide me here with the next steps.
Hello @SivaRamaKrishnaNV / Team, any updates.
You have issues to connect to internet? Does that mean ping google.com or apt-get update are not working? Could you share the network connection pictures?
Hello @SivaRamaKrishnaNV ,
Yes, I am not able to connect to internet.
Please refer to the ‘Getting Started’ chapter in DRIVE AGX Orin Developer Kit Hardware Quick Start Guide and ensure that you
Connect an Ethernet Cable to network port named 1GbE
the Developer System, next to the USB Type-C ports. We would expect the internet to work Out of the box after flashing.
Dear @SivaRamaKrishnaNV ,I believe it was optional in the setup Guide, so I didn’t connect the ethernet cable. Now the Drive is already flashed, so should I reflash it with Ethernet cable connected? Thanks in advance
Please check connecting to 1Gbe port as given in Getting started and reboot the target to see if any IP assigned by DHCP. I believe, you don’t see any IP in
As suggested I made connection to the host machine using the ethernet cable (1Gbe port). Attached the screenshot of the ifconfig.
Dear @sahul.tarachandy ,
Just want to confirm if you connected to RJ45 port?Could you share the pictures of ethernet connection?
Also, do you see the network issue since beginning or you notice it after flashing DRIVE OS 6.0.6?
Yes I had connected the RJ45 cable. After flashing Drive OS only I noticed this issue.
That means, it was working earlier and failed to work after flashing DRIVE OS 6.0.6? What was the working DRIVE OS version earlier when it was working? Is it possible to reflash again with ethernet connection and check?
Dear @SivaRamaKrishnaNV ,
No, it was a fresh Drive AGX that I flashed. Anyways I have reflashed Drive OS with ethernet connection. Could you please consider this as priority and help to resolve this issue asap, as this has been too long now with the same issue.
Can you share
sudo service systemd-networkd status ?
Can you please use text messages instead of image to be searchable by others in community. Also, please share complete logs of
sudo service systemd-networkd status. It seems mgbe3_0 is active per logs. Are you using QUAD HMTD connectors now? Does
ethtool show any of the link is up for interfaces? Please double check if the ethernet connection is not loose.
I understand it is urgent requirement, Could you share the ethernet connection pictures and boot log. I will check internally to provide guidance.
Also, did you try changing LAN wire cables and tried using MATENET or Quad HMD J3/J4 ports? Do you notice getting IP in any of the connection?
I would expect
eqos to get IP when you connect ethernet at J13 port(P3710 Networking | NVIDIA Docs) ?
Also please share
