ALERT: Known issues for AI Workbench Release 2026.03.6

AI Workbench just released a new version.

See here: Current Release Notes — NVIDIA AI Workbench User Guide

There are two known issues for the Cursor integration

  1. If your Desktop App is installed in remote only mode on Windows, the Cursor integration will NOT work out of the box. You should do the full local install or see here for a workaround.
  2. If your local container runtime for Workbench is podman, the Cursor integration will NOT work even if you have done the full local install.

There is one known issue with the NVIDIA Sync integration with AI Workbench

NVIDIA Sync supports finding and connecting to devices through multicast DNS. It provides this feature to make it easier to connect to DGX Spark and GB10 devices on networks that support mDNS.

However, on Windows this causes problems when Workbench tries to use a Sync created SSH connection. To resolve this, you should connect Sync to the device through its IP address.
