Hi,

For the VPI library, do you plan to add an Alpha Composite function that use the VIC hw accellerator?
Do you plan to expose “most” functions of the VIC via VPI library?

Hi,

Instead of adding the VIC function in VPI, it is possible to wrap VPI component into a GStreamer component.
So you can use the VIC function and VPI library at the same time.

OK thanks. Yes, seems like “nvvidconv” and “nvcompositor” provide some VIC functionality.
