Why? Spend 5k on a machine and the on;y support is a forum with limited posts.

Hi @jontybowd!

This is simple policy to avoid spam posts getting out of control. Imagine a new spam account that is not immediately discovered. It could fill up all categories and channels with ease.

But that restriction is lifted pretty fast so I think your account might already be unlocked.

Thanks, but the limitation persists.

I was trying to post regarding the first issue that in DGX Dashboard I ran updates that were pending. The system re-booted and the same issue came back. I just re-ran the second step and restored the DGX desktop.

  1. sudo apt update
  2. sudo apt install nividia-system-station
  3. sudo reboot

and we are back. I have subsequently re-booted and I am happy to say that the desktop remained intact.
