An error of -71 occurs when connecting a USB device

after connecting the USB 2.0 device board to AGX, errors such as usb -71 occur. Current tests have found that the two USB ports on the network port side are prone to problems when connected, while the two USB ports on the other side are less likely to have issues.

How should we solve this problem? Thank you.

Hi,
If you use a custom carrier board, please do compliance test to ensure the signal quality is good. Please refer to

Jetson Download Center | NVIDIA Developer

The error prints show the signal quality may not be good.

Hi,
We are not using a custom carrier board
The device is “Jetson AGX Orin 64GB Developer kit”

I am curious, is this a device that is directly connected to the port? Is there HUB? If a HUB, are other devices on the HUB? Is the cable one for the full-sized ports? What do you see from “lsusb -tv”, and which device is the one in question?

Is this still an issue to support? Any result can be shared?

We are still troubleshooting. It may be that the external USB devices are causing the issue.
