Anyone know if CUDA 12.6.2 is coming to JetPack?

Hey all,

I’m wondering if anyone knows if there are any plans to include CUDA 12.6.2 in an upcoming JetPack release?

I’m working on a project using Jetson with Yocto/meta-tegra, and CUDA 12.6.2 has some features we’d really benefit from - particularly the new cuFFT LTO callback API, cuBLAS/cuSOLVER updates, NVCC
compiler fixes, and an integer SIMD correctness fix.

The challenge is that we can’t just swap CUDA versions independently since JetPack components like TensorRT and DeepStream are tightly coupled to specific CUDA versions. The meta-tegra maintainers
suggested asking here to see if this might come through official JetPack channels.

Has anyone heard anything about CUDA version updates in future JetPack releases? Or is there a better way to request this?

looking at things historically, its easy to see that newer jetpack versions generally contain newer CUDA versions (along with other libraries).

Currently, Jetpack 7.1 contains CUDA 13.0

I usually suggest asking Jetson-specific questions on one of the Jetson forums.
