AODT 1.5 Backend Support on NVIDIA A10 GPU

Hi NVIDIA team,

I have a question regarding GPU compatibility for AODT 1.5.

The official prerequisites list the supported worker GPUs as RTX 6000 Ada, L40, A100, and H100, and the A10 is not included.

However, the A10 is an Ampere GPU (SM 8.6), and the AODT 1.5 binaries appear to include support for SM 8.6.

Could you clarify the following?

  1. If I run the AODT 1.5 backend on an NVIDIA A10, will it run successfully, or is there an explicit check that prevents startup on unsupported GPUs?

  2. Is the A10 omitted only because it has not been officially validated, or are there known technical limitations that make it incompatible with the AODT backend?

  3. Has anyone within NVIDIA tested AODT 1.5 on an A10, and if so, what was the observed behavior?

I’m trying to understand whether the A10 is merely an unsupported configuration or whether it is known not to work with the AODT 1.5 backend.

Thanks @raghukattubadi. A10 is currently unsupported as its limited memory is a constraint for running AODT 1.5. This should be resolved in AODT 1.6 where the physics will be much lighter on the vRAM system.
