Apple's Swift on TX2 (instructions)

Hello all,

just a quick note that might be interesting to some of you. At our company, YND, we’re using TX2 with Swift (Apple’s programming language + libraries) for some projects. We just published a post with some instructions how to get it working and what are the benefits:

https://medium.com/@ynd/getting-swift-to-run-on-nvidia-jetson-tx2-ai-computing-platform-1d9bcd6559dc

Our stack is mostly Swift tightly integrated with C + CUDA processing for object detection and DNN.

Hi mdk32, good work and thanks for sharing your post! For visibility, I’ve archived a link to it from the directory of TX2 wiki resources.

Hey, just a quick update here — we published some followup here how we’re using TX2 + DNN + Swift for real-time license plate detection.

Hi,

Do you have any experience with installing Swift on Jetson Nano 2GB which runs on ARMv8?
I’m running in circles to find any pointers on how to get it work. Any help would be much appreciated.

Best,
Daniel
