Applied to a role @ Nvidia, and later got referred. Does referral get auto-linked?

Hey folks,

I applied to an open role at Nvidia, and later had a friend refer me to that same role. When I clicked on the referral link I got via email, I was given a “You’ve already applied to this role” message.

The platform didn’t make it clear whether the referral automatically linked my previous application to the referral. Anyone go through this before and know whether:

  1. it does auto-link,

  2. it requires some kind of manual link by RH, or

  3. I should reapply using a different account, using the referral link?

Please ask the person who referred you to contact NVIDIA HR directly on your behalf.
They will be able to sort it out.
