[ArchLinux] Laptop screen flicker Kernel 455.45.01

Hello,

After upgrading from 450.66 to 455.01 my laptop screen started to flicker. I have disabled the Intel GPU, thus only the NVIDIA is running all the time. Note that if I connect an external monitor or if I downgrade back to 450.66, there is no issue

Any ideas?
Thank you in advance,

My laptop specs (Lenovo y740):
CPU: Intel(R) Core™ i7-9750H CPU @ 2.60GHz
GFX: NVIDIA Corporation TU106BM [GeForce RTX 2070 Mobile / Max-Q] (rev a1)

Kernel version: Linux version 5.4.84-1-lts (linux-lts@archlinux) (gcc version 10.2.0 (GCC))
xorg-server: 1.20.10

Hello,

I have same or similar issue on Lenovo Y740 with GeForce RTX 2070 Mobile / Max-Q Card

I believe that 450.X drivers was the last working drivers for me. On the newer drivers screen flicker on higher CPU usage or even it got black. When it happens I have to switch to another tty and back to the blacked one to restore graphic.

I checked that when external monitor is plugged, there is no issue as the first post in this topic states.

Current versions:
Kernel: 5.12.13-gentoo
Xorg: 1.20.11-r1

Same issue with the Legion Y740. Nvidia, can we get a fix please? This was a known issue in the Windows driver last year.
