Arducam 8MP PTZ Camera Not Recognized on Jetson Orin Nano with JetPack 6

Hello,

I’m having trouble with my Arducam 8MP Pan Tilt Zoom (PTZ) Camera (Model B01678MP) on my Jetson Orin Nano running JetPack 6. I purchased the camera from Pi-Shop, and I followed the instructions from the Quick Start guide on the Arducam Wiki. Despite my efforts, the camera is not recognized.

The dmesg log shows the following errors:

[ 10.235034] imx219 9-0010: tegracam sensor driver:imx219_v2.0.6
[ 10.245665] imx219 9-0010: imx219_board_setup: error during i2c read probe (-121)
[ 10.250782] imx219 9-0010: board setup failed
[ 10.250842] imx219: probe of 9-0010 failed with error -121

I have tried different pins (I2C1_SDA, I2C0_SDA) and camera ports (0 and 1), and enabled the IM219 for jetson-io.

Could someone advise if the camera is supported with JetPack 6 or if I need to install a driver? Thanks in advance for your help!

JP6 support PI V2 camera compatible design.

Many thanks for the prompt reply! Unfortunately, the camera is still not recognized after spending several hours for the installation. I followed this guide:
https://docs.arducam.com/Nvidia-Jetson-Camera/Pan-Tilt-Zoom-Camera/quick-start/
and in addition:

  • Tried different pins (I2C1_SDA, I2C0_SDA,…)
  • Tried camera ports 0 and 1
  • Enabled the IMX219 for jetson-io
but I always get the dmesg log shown above. I would really appreciate any hint what I could try further!

Maybe consult with Arducam to confirm the driver that support JP6.x

Thanks

Thanks again a lot for the prompt help, I have contacted them!
