Hi all,

I am trying to determine which Aurix step i need to flash when upgrading the Drive to 5.2.6.0 and would like to double sure and confirm.

The label is: E350: 699-63550-0001-500 C RW0 → Step A per guide
Aurix console, no TC397 which might show older revision installed?
Shell>version

DDPX Aurix Serial Console
E3550-B03
with TLF35584 B/C-Step
UPDATE SW Version 1.24

from user CLI also shows 00 which means step A
nvidia@tegra-ubuntu:~$ /usr/bin/nv_aurix_update -get_fw_version
Flashed UPDATE fw version 0.00.00.00
SW Version: ì
AURIX Chip revision: 00

Thanks VickNV,

I am currently in state that memtool is connected to the unit.
Step 13 in the manual is not clear as it ask to select HEX file. Which HEX file? where is it or how do i create it? some guide lines will be appreciated.

Some additional feedback on the manual until now are:

  • infinion memtool 5 version 2021.08 build 5012
When creating the default target config it differs from the doc a little too. I have to go under `TriCore Aurix 2G’ to find the TC39x option
  • power on the unit when Aurix switch is on PRG, Wait 30 seconds while power is off. Turn on AC power. Now memtool is able to connect and successfully program the Aurix firmware.
  1. Click Open File and select the hex file to flash. >> from where i can source the aurix hex file version? the manual does not point you to it.

Waiting for your input before proceeding.

Please disregard my earlier suggestion about using the MemTool utility. Instead, follow the instructions in the “Flashing AURIX on Xavier” section of Flashing AURIX.

Hi Vick,

Steps 14 does not explain how to source the hex file.

Nir

Please do not use MemTool and disregard step14 from the process. Instead, follow Flashing AURIX on Xavier. It seems you still have access to the system through SSH or UART, so you can use that method for re-flashing.
