Auto Negotiation for 10G is not working on ConnextX-6 and ConnextX-6 DX but working fine with ConnectX-4, ConnectX-5

Hi,

I’m using Connect X-6 and ConnectX-6 DX in my machine (Linux) and connecting to my board via 100G QSFP28 cable. The Auto Negotiation completes for 25G and for 10G speeds, it is failing.

The same board when connected to Connect X-4 and Connect X-5, the AN will be completed for both 10G and 25G speeds.

Is there a specific setting for Connect X-6 NICs or is this a known issue/limitation?

Are we missing something?

Any help would be appreciated.

Please verify you are using officially supported cables and modules for ConnectX-6, along with the latest NIC and switch firmware versions.

If the issue still persists, please open a support case and it will be handled based on entitlement.
