Automatic IP case acquisition by edge computing

Our boxes are installed on the edge, and there are network cables to connect to the local area network. We have cloud control program to control these boxes. However, when the box is delivered to the site, it is not configured with IP, and the cloud does not know the IP of the box. At this time, if automatic IP is supported, a LAN broadcast program can be written on the box. If the LAN is a relatively secure network and does not support automatic IP, do you have to connect the display keyboard and mouse one by one to configure IP?

If your cloud control program is outside your local network, I think your device need to ping to the cloud server first to register the connection. In such case, your edge box need an IP fisrt to access the internet network.

For static ip address on jetson:
Pls add the followed config to your /etc/network/interfaces

# interfaces(5) file used by ifup(8) and ifdown(8)
# Include files from /etc/network/interfaces.d:
source-directory /etc/network/interfaces.d

auto lo
iface lo inet loopback
auto eth0
iface eth0 inet static

then, sudo reboot to take effect.

How to configure the IP of our box after it leaves the factory? We will have a cloud. How is the cloud connected with the box for the first time? How is the previous case usually done? Do you have any other cases to provide, that is, a little automation
