Big NVDEC performance hit with SLI Mosaic?

With dual Quadro cards on Linux I get less than half normal NVDEC performance when I have SLI Mosaic enabled. However, I need SLI Mosaic and full performance for my application.

This occurs with multiple distros and with both RTX or prior generation cards.

You can test with the NvDecodeGL sample from the video SDK with vsync off.

I opened a bug a couple weeks ago but it is painfully slow to deal with support so far.

Has anyone else seen this?

Thanks,
Rob

I am having similar problems on Windows 10 and Windows 11 with latest drivers and Video Codec SDK 12.1.14 with CUDA 12.2. Is there any offical response or known reason for that? I am using two RTX A4000 GPUs and a Quadro Sync II card. Performance drop is approx. 50% as soon as multi gpu mosaic is enabled. Behavior seems to be consistent with all drivers from branch R470 up to R550.
