I recently updated my Ubuntu and encountered an issue with my laptop’s primary display. Now, my laptop screen appears black, but I am able to operate using a secondary monitor. My graphics card model is GeForce RTX 3050 Ti.
This problem started occurring immediately after the update. Despite several attempts to troubleshoot, I have been unable to restore the functionality of my primary display. Any assistance or guidance on how to resolve this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Your internal display is driven by the amd gpu. You got upgraded to kernel 6.5 which has a bug in the amdgpu driver with scaled resolutions. Please try switching to the display’s native res to see something again. Furthermore, your nvidia driver is outdated (530), so it didn’t compile. Please upgrade the driver. To get the amd fully working again, please switch back to the 6.2 kernel in grub and report a bug with ubuntu.

Another user found that the amdgpu bug is fixed in the 6.7 kernel, using the liquorix ppa.
