Bluefield-2 cannot reset lost passwords

Hello,

I have a BF-2 card that we don’t have the OOB or BMC passwords to.
I have tried (re)installing the image both with and without a config file to reset the password to no avail. The OOB comes up, as does the BMC. I can connect to both via ssh/https respectively, however, it insists the password is wrong when trying to login.
I can connect via rshim0 with the same result.

How can I get this reset so it is accessible?

Hello,

Since you are unable to reset the password by reinstalling the image, this could suggest the device is secure-locked, in which case you would need to contact NVIDIA Enterprise Support to get this fixed - it is intentionally protected against reset efforts, and the only way would be through enterprise support.

If you had access to the rshim, then resetting the BMC would have been an option, but since rshim0 gives the same result (no password access), unfortunately you would need to contact enterprise support.
