BlueField DPU hardware access

Hey everyone,

I’m working on a real-time network anomaly detection system (currently bottlenecking an RTX 4090 at 40 Mpps with zero-copy IPC) and applied to NVIDIA Inception a couple of weeks ago. While waiting, I figured I’d ask some questions I’ve been genuinely curious about.

For cybersecurity / network security startups already in Inception:

  1. Hardware Access: Is there any hardware access path for BlueField DPUs through the program? We’re evaluating BlueField-3 for our inference pipeline to bypass a PCIe bottleneck, and wondering if members get any way to access DPU hardware for benchmarking, beyond the standard cloud compute credits.

  2. Specialized Resources: Are there any Inception resources specifically relevant to network security workloads (like DOCA or eBPF optimization), or is it mostly the standard DLI credits and cloud compute benefits?

Would love to hear from anyone who’s been through this process.
