Bluetooth connectivity issue with xbox controller

Hi,

I am facing issues when trying to connect a xbox controller with Jetson Orin Nano(Jetpack 5.1.2 (L4T 35.4.1)) over bluetooth.

The problem:
The controller appears to repeatedly connect and disconnect
Controller is not configurable with jstest-gtk

Troubleshooting steps I have tried:

  • Install xboxdrv
  • Disable ertm
  • Disable the WiFi module

I have attached the syslog, showing the period in which Iturned on the bluetooth and attempted to connect the controller.

Note: The controller works when connected with a cable to the jetson

Hi,
There are some discussions about it:

Enable F710 controller

Please check and give it a try. And please also apply this:

Enabling Bluetooth Audio — NVIDIA Jetson Linux Developer Guide 1 documentation

Hi,

I have enabled the bluetooth Audio following the steps you mentioned above.
And based on the discussions and links in your first source,
I attempted kernel customization
I followed the steps entailed here:
https://docs.nvidia.com/jetson/archives/r35.1/DeveloperGuide/text/SD/Kernel/KernelCustomization.html#to-build-the-kernel

However, I run into an error when I attempt to build it
I have attached a subset of the log file (sys log) and the error message
Am I doing something wrong?

Hi,

Could I get some help with this?
The issue continues to persist.

Hi,
Please apply this for a try:

It is for another BT function and might be helpful for this. Please give it a try.
