Bluetooth Mouse Connected But not Functioning on Jetson Orin Nano - Jetpack 6

I have connected a Logitech MX Vertical Ergonomic Bluetooth Mouse to the Jetson Orin Nano. It says “Connected”, but the mouse does not move the cursor at all. I’ve tried restarting the Jetson and the mouse as well as turning Bluetooth off and on multiple times. Still no luck.

I know for a fact that the mouse itself is not broken because I use it daily with several other computers (Windows devices). Any ideas on how to fix this?

I’m using Jetpack 6.

Hi,
Probably the device needs certain kernel configs. Would suggest check this.

And please make sure you use Jetpack 6.0GA(r36.3) instead of r36.2.

Would you be able to elaborate on what kernel configs a Bluetooth mouse could need?

I verified that I am on r36.3 by running:

$ dpkg-query --show nvidia-l4t-core
nvidia-l4t-core 36.3.0-2024050610262

Please take a look and give it a try.

I took a look at Solaar. I was able to use Logitech Unifying Receiver to connect the mouse using Solaar. However, it didn’t help with connecting it via Bluetooth.

Hi,
Please apply this for a try:

Enabling Bluetooth Audio — NVIDIA Jetson Linux Developer Guide 1 documentation

It should not be required since mouse is not a audio device, but may give it a try. And do you use default DT/WIFI module RTL8822CE?
