Booting the Jetson Orin Nano off of the developer carrier board

We are developing a VPX formatted board (an aerospace backplane) and are putting a Jetson Orin Nano on the board with a Microchip Polarfire SoC.

Due to size constraints we cannot just put the whole carrier board on so we used the Jetson Orin Nano itself and plugged it into our board.

Obviously there is a need to modify some of the elements of the boot up of Ubuntu on the Jetson Orin Nano.

Has anyone done that, and are there resources you could point us to.

oh, by the way, we are flying it in space next year.

Thanks
