BPMP and peripheral isolation

Hello everyone,

This post is related to the one I posted before about how to isolate peripheral to prevent non-secure accesses :
https://devtalk.nvidia.com/default/topic/961164/?comment=4975333

My question this time is related to the BPMP. Our client has software executed on this processor which accesses drivers like an UART and we would like to know if the BPMP will still be able to access the UART registers if we use the AP Control Registers (see TRM chapter 21.1.7).

Thanks in advance.

Hi Pierre_Lucas,

Sorry for the late reply.

The BPMP doesn’t have the TZ privilege in runtime to access these registers.

Thanks

Hello,

this is what we thought, but we were not sure.

Thanks for your answer.
