Broken link to DXSDK (June 2010) in docs

Is the June 2010 version of the DXSDK still the one that is required for the CloudXR server to run on a Windows 10 machine? If so, the link in the docs is broken and it seems difficult to find a trustworthy download of the SDK:

Any other resources available?

Thanks,
Yuli

Hi @yuli - Thanks for reporting this! Go ahead and use this link for now: https://www.microsoft.com/en-in/download/confirmation.aspx?id=17431

We will update our SDK guide.

Thanks!

Veronica

Great, many thanks!

Actually, just looking at the new link you’ve provided - that also doesn’t look quite right? It seems to be a link to a presentation about DX11, but not the SDK itself…

Also, @Veronica_NVIDIA, not sure if this is related to the above, but I’m struggling to get the server running locally. It seems to install just fine, however I only see a blank space in the SteamVR status window:

The CloudXRRemoteHMD add-on is present and enabled in the Steam settings…

Any ideas?

OK, this turns out to be expected behaviour, but the docs make it a bit confusing.

@Veronica_NVIDIA I would suggest adding a note at the end of section 2.2 of the docs that you will not see the icons in the SteamVR status window appear until a client attempts to connect…

Hi @yuli - Looks like the link is now working: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/confirmation.aspx?id=8109

Thank you for the feedback @yuli - We will take that into consideration. Appreciate it!
