BUG 378/381: nvml/nvidia-smi core clock is wrong on pascal devices

Hi,

I am using GTX 980 with driver version 410. Documents say we should be able to disable/enable GPU boosting. But it doesn’t work. Also, I tried with different GPUs such GTX 1080, Titan V but no success.

This is the command I’m using :

nvidia-smi --auto-boost-default=0

and this is the output:

“Enabling/disabling default auto boosted clocks is not supported for GPU: 00000000:01:00.0.
Treating as warning and moving on.
Enabling/disabling default auto boosted clocks is not supported for GPU: 00000000:02:00.0.
Treating as warning and moving on.
All done.”

Have you fixed this problem?

IIRC, the auto-boost switch was a short-lived feature only available on some Kepler gpus.
