If I change my plasmalogin monitor output settings to be different from the settings on my Desktop, upon reboot and logging in, the system will hang with black screens and a Xid 56 / 120 error in the log. This is irrecoverable and ssh/reboot will not work, emitting the SYSRQ keys however does.
I tried disabling Vrr in kwinoutputconfig for both PlasmaLogin and Desktop, to no effect, and also the same with HDR.
The only solution I found so far is to sudo cp ~/.config/kwinoutputconfig.json /var/lib/plasmalogin/.config/kwinoutputconfig.json && chown plasmalogin:plasmalogin /var/lib/plasmalogin/.config/kwinoutputconfig.json
