I have a similar issue but on USB-C/Thunderbolt.
I use KDE 6 and Wayland.
All previous drivers worked just fine up to and including 550 series. Right now I downgraded to 550, and it works.
Laptop Lenovo X1 Extreme Gen 3 with GeForce GTX 1650 Ti with Max-Q Design.
External display is Lenovo ThinkVision p40w-20.
Thank you everyone for sharing the details, I am able to replicate issue locally which will help us to debug it now.
Shall update further once I have feedback from engineering team.
Any updates about the issue ?
Hi @rodcolmanetti
Issue has been root caused and fix will be available in future release drivers.
I have a similar problem, my DVI-D port is not working. I have a GTX 1650… I use a DVI-D for VGA monitor adapter… The monitor receives a signal, but windows does not detect it The screen remains black

freezes xorg, dvi is still broken
in 550.107.02
both command works, dvi is working
what did you do nvidia
dvi port is broken on 550.120
it was working on 550.107.02
I just updated my RTX 4070 TI to 561.09 and same issue dvi connection blank screen no detection (cable dvi → dvi). Had to switch to HDMI connection on card to get video. Reverted back brought back dvi functionality.
this is linux, 561.09 is windows drivers, go make new post
Can you please capture a NVIDIA bug report from your system and attach it here.
Does downgrading to 550.107.02 bring up the DVI display again?
Are you using a DVI-DP cable?
Thank you
