# \[BUG REPORT\] TV has trouble finding 3090ti after TV has been turned off for a while

Turning the TV off and coming back 5 minutes or more later makes it so the TV cannot detect the HDMI signal from the graphics card. The console shows up no problem, just X isn’t feeding properly. Similarly the Windows machine that is connected in the same manner with a much older nvidia graphics card has no trouble whatsoever.

Please check if the bug is depending on FRL, e.g. by switching to 3980x2160@60Hz resolution and then turning off the TV.
