Building exe file using g++ for both c and cpp sources

I have a sample code for using Xavier’s GPIOs in C. Making exe in sample is straight forward.

g++ -O2 -Wall exampleGPIOApp.cpp jetsonGPIO.c -o exampleGPIOApp

I am using jetsonGPIO.c and jetsonGPIO.h to add into gst-dsexample lib. I am trying to modify its Makefile. But still have error. My modification is as follows and what is still wrong. The error is No Rule to make target 'jetsonGPIO.o'.

Makefile writing is a common knowledge for c/c++ coding. Please google for the skills.

Yeah thanks I did.
Now I can make obj file for jetsonGPIO.o
Now error is those functions from jetsonGPIO.h used in gstdsexample.cpp have errors.

I study your tutorial. Thanks for the nice tutorial.
But what I did is correct.
Don’t know why c functions are undefined references in gstdsexample.cpp

I copied the whole codes for GPIO to gstdsexample.cpp and gstdsexample.h. Problem solved.
