Cable error, Power budget exceeded

I have have an infiniband card type ConnectX6 P06250-B21_Ax “HPE InfiniBand HDR100/Ethernet 100Gb 1-port 940QSFP56 x16 Adapter”

I am trying to set it up on redhat9.

I got the following error from the dmesg

Trying the to make the link up I got the error code 1032 Power budget exceeded.

Hi Ramy,

The root cause is related to the module power limit that requires exceed than NIC can supply.
You’re highly recommended to use Nvidia Mellanox modules/cables.
BTW, please upgrade the Firmware to the latest version.
