Camera can't preview, max9295a,max96705,max96712

I have to make two types of cameras work together.

type one: 30f/s,19201080 gmsl2 protocol, the serializer is max9295a.
type two: 25f/s , 640
514 gmsl1 protocol, the serializer is max96705.

Link A, B and C each connected to a type one camera, and link D connected to a type two camera.

Now I the type one camera can preview fine,but the type two camera cannot be previewed.

The trace log show the Spurious data that means VI sees some other packets before FS packet, as VI alwasy expect the 1st packet to be frame start.
Please have a check that.

which configuration should I check ?
I used to port the camera separately, and it can worked normally. The difference is that I enabled frame synchronization. Now I have two types of cameras with different frame rate,I have to disable frame synchronization. There’s no other difference.

By the way, the camera have two line Parameter data at the footer of the frame,Is it possible that this is the cause?

TBH, we’ve never tested this.
in general, GMSL2 has twice the bandwidth of GMSL1.
may I know what’s the hardware setups? could you please share the topology of all your 4-cam connections for reference. thanks

I see something wrong in your device tree settings.
you must set the vc-id property in the gmsl-link node for each sensor to match the vc_id property in the sensor mode device node. please see-also Jetson Virtual Channel with GMSL Camera Framework.

there’re error reported by CHANSEL_FAULT.

according register dumps, it shows the current line in frame is 513. this looks match to your 640x514 sensor stream.
but… according to error report bits,
there’s an pixel long line failure, which is a line is exceed the expected value of frame width; and, pixel spurious error shows an error of a long packet without line start.

is there a reset signal available? could you please send a reset request before sensor start stream. this usually resolve some signal stability issue with SerDes chips.
