Camera failed with virtual channel enabled

Hi,

We got csi device preview failed and the preview image were all green, as we enabled NX virtual channel.
The device stream is from RX(TP2854).

Here is the error log and modified dtb.

tegra186-camera-tp-m00-p.dtsi (98.9 KB)

Thank you for any advice,

The trace log tell the start of transmission multi bit error. What is the same dts for but disable the VC for the first device?

Hi ShaneCCC,

Thank you for your prompt support.

Would you address more “the start of transmission multi bit error?”

If disabled the VC, only one CSI device is added. Yes, one video in with one csi device works well.

Thank you,

What’s if disable the VC but the device tree still define as VC?

Hi ShaneCCC,

Here is the update of “disable the VC but the device tree still define as VC”.
The result was similar with enabled VC, still got green image.
And the error message seems same as before.

The test was based on no VC driver/device tree and added VC into the device tree.

By the way, the original VC driver/device tree was from TP vendor and the vendor said the driver/device tree worked well on TX2.

Thank you for any advice,

Does the trace log are the same with this condition?

Hi ShaneCCC,

Attached the trace log.

Hi @HuiW

Please review the settings within tegra-camera-platform node. As you’ve 4 camera in the system, you may need to change assign the position properties. Find here a referece.

Could you try using the following types?
bottomleft, bottomright, centerleft, centerright
